The band, which featured Louis, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Harry Styles, went on indefinite hiatus in 2015, with some members moving on to successful solo careers.

Speaking on Australia’s ‘The Project’, Louis said that he’s more than happy to talk about One Direction in every interview, saying it’s something he is “immensely proud” of.

He said that it was an incredible thing to do at such a young age, and that he’s had amazing memories.

Meanwhile, Louis, 30 has registered four new songs for his second solo album.

He’s been hard at work on his follow up to 2020’s ‘Walls’ and has co-written a number of tracks with former ‘Fame Academy’ winner David Sneddon and Hurts’ Theo David Hutchcraft.

There’s still no official release date or title for the LP, but it’s expected to arrive before the end of the year, a source told The Sun’s Bizarre column.

The source said that fans will “genuinely love” and claims the upcoming album is his “best work yet”.
