Casting is well underway for Daredevil: Born Again, and a recent casting has given some insight into what we can expect in the Marvel Studios produced reboot.
GeekVibesNation reported that the series is looking to cast a “Chinese American” for the role of “Theo Chow.”
This may be a codename, as the character has also been described as a martial arts enthusiast and is billed as a recurring character.
Fans have assumed this is Sam Chung, also known as Blindspot.
Sam Chung is a fan-favourite character from the Daredevil comic book run written by Charles Soule, and is considered to be one of the best new additions of the run.
He is an excellent gymnast who develops a suit that allows him to become completely invisible, and is later tutored by Daredevil in hand-to-hand comic.
Sam Chung did appear in Iron Fist Season 2, but it was such a minor character that a retcon wouldn’t break the timeline.
